DHS has always believed in continuously upgrading employees within the hospitality industry. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, DHS partnered with the Malaysian Tourism Council to deliver training programs for B40 youths and industry members, enabling them to upskill and progress toward a Diploma qualification from Singapore. Building on this commitment, in 2025 DHS partnered with the Hotel Union and the Service Industry Union to offer free, monthly training programs in preparation for Visit Malaysia Year 2026. These initiatives strengthen workforce readiness, elevate service standards, and empower hospitality professionals to meet global expectations while driving sustainable industry growth.

OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROGRAM
The objective of this program is to genuinely uplift and strengthen the hospitality workforce through accessible, high-quality training—without exploiting the industry for survival or profit. Unlike associations or training providers that depend on the industry to sustain themselves, DHS delivers these programs as a commitment to workforce excellence, national readiness, and long-term sector growth.
